We used unrefined cane sugar with all the good vitamins intact. No sugar alcohols, No aspartame, No artificial sweeteners. White sugar is notorious for being washed with sulfur so we stick to unrefined sugar. Secondly, these cookies have almost 40% less sugar than your regular cream cookies!
