Step-by-Step Guide to Making Spinach & Lentil Dhokla

  • 1 cup Gladful’s Multi Lentil and Spinach Mix
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • Water as required
  • 1/2 tsp fruit salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • Fresh Coriander for garnish


  • Batter Preparation: In a mixing bowl, whisk together Gladful’s multi lentil and spinach mix, curd, and enough water to achieve a batter with a dosa-like consistency. Stir in the fruit salt to help the dhokla rise and become fluffy.
  • Steaming Dhokla: Pour the batter into cups lined with banana leaves. Steam these cups for about 10-15 minutes until the dhokla is cooked through.
  • Tempering: Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard and sesame seeds, and let them splutter to release their flavors. This tempering process adds a crunch and an aromatic touch to the dhokla.
  • Serving: Unmould the steamed dhokla, pour the tempering over the top, and garnish with chopped fresh coriander. Serve warm with a side of mint or coriander chutney.



  • 1 कप ग्लैडफुल का मल्टी दाल और पालक मिक्स
  • 1/2 कप दही
  • आवश्यकतानुसार पानी
  • 1/2 छोटा चम्मच फलों का नमक
  • 2 बड़े चम्मच तेल
  • 1 छोटा चम्मच सरसों के दाने
  • 1 छोटा चम्मच तिल


  1. एक कटोरे में ग्लैडफुल का मल्टी दाल और पालक मिक्स, दही और पानी को मिलाकर एक घोल बनाएं।

  2. फलों का नमक डालें और अच्छी तरह से मिलाएं। घोल को केले के पत्तों के कप में डालें।

  3. कपों को 10-15 मिनट तक भाप में पकाएं।

  4. तड़का तैयार करने के लिए तेल गरम करें और उसमें सरसों के दाने और तिल डालें।

  5. तड़के को भाप में पके ढोकले पर डालें।

  6. ताजा धनिया से सजाकर परोसें।
