Rakhi Wishes from Gladful – Manu and Parul Ki Rakhi Over the Years

Rakhi Wishes from Gladful – Manu and Parul Ki Rakhi Over the Years

As a pair of siblings who are also co-founders of Gladful, Rakhi has always held a special place in our hearts. It’s not just about the thread we tie around each other’s wrists, but about the memories we’ve created over the years, the silly sibling fights, the inside jokes, and the deep bond we’ve built.

So, this Raksha Bandhan, we thought we’d take a walk down memory lane, sharing a bit about Manu and Parul ki Rakhi through the years. We hope this brings a smile to your face, just as these moments have brightened our lives!

Growing Up Together: The Rakhi Rituals

Like most Indian families, Rakhi was always a day filled with fun, laughter, and of course, sweets!

Manu, being the ever-cool foodie (you probably guessed, right?), would always be more excited about the gift boxes that came out than the rakhi itself.

And me, Parul, well… I loved the idea of tying that perfect, colorful rakhi on his wrist and reminding him he owes me a lifelong promise of protection. It became a sweet tradition, but it was never just about the ritual – it was about showing up for each other, every year.

From exchanging handmade rakhis as kids to now, where we exchange ideas for Gladful along with the rakhis, this festival has grown with us. It's a reminder that, through thick and thin, we’ve got each other’s backs.

Manu: The Ever-Playful Brother

One Rakhi memory that always makes us laugh? Manu’s attempt to pretend he forgot the day. Every single year, without fail, he’d walk into the room acting all casual like he didn’t know it was Rakhi. Of course, he never succeeded –the rakhis in my hand always gave it away!

And those moments, the playful banter, and his cheeky grin after every ‘surprise’ gift – they’re what Rakhi has always been about for us. Manu is always the light-hearted, funny one, and even today, he manages to make each Rakhi celebration a little extra joyful with his endless sense of humor.

Parul: The Protective Elder Sister

While I loved tying rakhi on Manu’s wrist, I secretly believe that I’ve always been the protective one. Growing up, I was the older sister keeping an eye on him, making sure he ate his veggies (yes, even before Gladful came into the picture!). I think that’s where the whole idea of Gladful came from – making sure my loved ones are always nourished and healthy.

Every Raksha Bandhan, it’s my chance to remind Manu that no matter how much he teases me, no matter how busy we get with work, I’ll always be his big sister, looking out for him. And hey, when you run a business together, that protective streak comes in handy more than you’d think!

Rakhi at Gladful: A Celebration of Sibling Love

Building Gladful together has been one of the most fulfilling journeys of our lives, and Rakhi is a beautiful time to reflect on how much we’ve grown – not just as business partners, but as siblings. Our shared passion for bringing healthy, protein-rich foods to families across India wouldn’t have been possible without the trust and bond we’ve built over the years.

In many ways, our story is a reflection of what Rakhi stands for – a promise of protection, mutual respect, and unconditional support. As co-founders and siblings, we’ve stood by each other, whether it was during the early days of Gladful, brainstorming at odd hours, or figuring out how to balance work and family.

This Rakhi, we want to send a little extra love to all the siblings out there who are each other’s biggest supporters, just like us. Whether you’re miles apart or side by side, Rakhi is a reminder that your bond is forever.

Our Wish for You This Raksha Bandhan

As we celebrate Rakhi this year, our wish for all our Gladful family is to cherish the moments you have with your siblings. Savor the sweet memories, the laughter, and yes, even the playful fights. Whether it’s sharing your favorite food or reminiscing about childhood pranks, these moments are what make Rakhi special.

And as always, keep eating clean and nourishing your body – because that’s what we’re all about at Gladful! So here’s to another year of love, protection, and lots of healthy breakfasts together. 😊

Wishing you and your siblings a very happy Raksha Bandhan, from us – Manu & Parul, and the entire Gladful family.
