Recipe Yield: Serves 2-3 people (approx. 12-15 upma balls)
Ingredients:
- 1 pack Gladful's Ghee Upma
- Water (as per the upma package instructions)
- Oil
- Butter
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- Fresh coriander leaves
Prepare Upma:
- In a pan, add Gladful's Ghee Upma and water as per package instructions.
- Bring it to a boil and cook until the water evaporates and the upma is soft.
- Let the upma cool down.
- Once cool, grease your hands and shape the upma into small balls.
- In a separate pan, heat oil and butter.
- Add mustard seeds and curry leaves, and let them splutter.
- Add the upma balls to the pan and fry for a few minutes until they turn golden and crisp.
- Add 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
